Event Overview
The Columbia River Classic Run consists of a 51st annual competitive run and a fun run held in Richland, Washington. The event features multiple distances that utilize the paved paths along the Columbia River. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports Camp Patriot, a non-profit organization that provides outdoor adventures for disabled veterans.
Course Information
The races start and finish at the USS Triton Submarine Memorial, located off the intersection of 11th Avenue and George Washington Way at USS Triton Submarine Park. Both courses follow an out and back route along the paved Columbia River trail. Participants in the longer distance will find aid stations located at the Snyder Street entrance to Leslie Groves Park and at the turnaround point. These stations provide water, while energy gels are available at the turnaround.
