Columbia Gorge Marathon
The Columbia Gorge event is a two-day running festival in Hood River with multiple race options and a riverside finish festival. Courses follow stretches of the Historic Columbia River Highway and riverfront paths, offering views of fall foliage and the Columbia River Gorge.
- Saturday: Kids' 1K, 5K, 10K
- Sunday: Half Marathon, Marathon, Half Relay, Dog Leg Half
Packet pickup is available at the Hood River event site. Shuttle buses run for marathon participants. The event offers early start options for some races and applies course cut-off times for safety and logistics. Aid stations and portable toilets are located approximately every 1 to 3 miles along all courses.
Finish area amenities include a catered post-race lunch by Spin Catering and a riverside festival atmosphere with food and celebration. Every finisher receives a custom medal; Marathon and Half Marathon entrants receive a custom Columbia Gorge beanie, while 5K and 10K participants receive a technical shirt.
