Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Color Run & Walk
The Syracuse Wawasee Chamber of Commerce hosts a color run and walk on June 27, 2026, at South Shore Village in Syracuse, Indiana. The event is part of America’s 250th celebration and is presented as a family-friendly activity with options to run or walk.
The event program includes music, color stations, food and beer tents, free lemon shake-ups, patriotic activities, and tethered hot air balloon rides provided by RE/MAX. Participation is offered in two distance options:
- 5K
- 1 mile
Pre-registration is priced at $30 through June 22, with race day registration priced at $35; participants who pre-register on or before June 22 are guaranteed a T-shirt, and later registrations are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Awards and prizes are given in the 5K for overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters, and the top three finishers in each age division. All participants in the 1 mile receive a prize. Divisions are gender based and include these age groups: 12 & Under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & Over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
