Color Run 5K and 1 Mile
The Color Run 5K and 1 Mile is a community running event held in downtown Hamilton, Texas. The course takes participants through the streets of the city, starting on Bell Street. This event includes two distinct distances for participants:
- 5 km
- 1.6 km (1 mile)
The 5 km race is open to participants of various ages, with a lower registration fee available for students aged 17 and under. The 1.6 km fun run offers two options, including a free entry version that does not include a shirt, or a paid version that includes one. To receive a shirt, registration must be finalized by late April.
Participants are organized into several age divisions for both males and females. These categories include groups for those aged 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Awards are presented following the conclusion of the races. Recognition is given to the overall male and female winners, as well as to those finishing in first and second place within each specific age and gender category.
