Color Me Pink 5K, Fun Walk, and Gentlemen's Dash
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Lackawanna County Courthouse Square in Scranton, PA. It includes a timed 5K race, a family fun walk, and a Gentlemen's Dash. Organizers encourage teams and the wearing of pink as part of the Paint the Planet Pink campaign, which lists a fundraising goal of $200,000 and shows funds raised so far.
The 5K entry includes a bib and chip timing. Registration pricing shown for earlier registration periods lists the 5K fee and a separate fee for the Fun Walk. Participants may create personal pledge pages to fundraise, edit a photo and message on their page, and share a unique pledge link.
Medals are awarded to first place male and female in multiple age categories, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
The course starts on Linden Street at Courthouse Square and follows a route that includes Wyoming Avenue, Marion Street, and North Washington Avenue before returning to Linden Street. Walkers follow a route that turns onto Pine Street before rejoining North Washington and Linden to the finish. Volunteers with signs will be on the route to direct runners and walkers.
