Color Me Pink 5K, Fun Walk, and Gentlemen's Dash
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Lackawanna County Courthouse Square in Scranton, PA and marks the thirteenth year of Paint the Planet Pink. The program includes a timed 5K race, a family fun walk, and a Gentlemen's Dash. Teams and the wearing of pink are encouraged.

The 5K start is on Linden Street between North Washington Avenue and Adams Street. The running route proceeds up Wyoming Avenue, turns onto Marion Street, continues down North Washington Avenue, and returns to Linden Street. Walking participants follow a route that turns up Pine Street and returns by North Washington to Linden Street. Runners will use the roadway and are advised to stay to the right; walkers are advised to use sidewalks. Volunteers with signs will be on the route to direct participants.
Registration fees shown include mandatory charges. Sample fees listed are $39.44 for the 5K and $28.74 for the Fun Walk. Participants may create personal pledge pages to raise funds for Paint the Planet Pink. Awards include medals for first place male and female finishers in age categories from 14 and under through 60 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
