COLOR ME PINK 5K, FUN WALK, AND GENTLEMEN'S DASH 2026
Color Me Pink is a community event held in Scranton, Pennsylvania at Lackawanna County Courthouse Square on September 19, 2026. The program includes a timed 5K race, a family fun walk, and a Gentlemen's Dash. Teams and the wearing of pink are encouraged.
The 5K course begins on Linden Street between N. Washington and Adams, proceeds up Wyoming Avenue, turns onto Marion Street, runs down N. Washington Avenue, and finishes back on Linden Street. Walking participants follow a route that turns onto Pine Street and returns on N. Washington and Linden. Runners are advised to use the street and keep to the right; walkers are advised to use sidewalks. Volunteers with signs will be on the route to direct participants.
Registration fees listed for the event include a Color Me Pink 5K option with bib and chip timing and a Fun Walk individual option. Participants are offered tools to create personal pledge pages for fundraising, including the ability to edit a photo and share a custom link. The Paint the Planet Pink fundraising organization shows a fundraising goal and current progress.
