COLOR ME PINK 5K, FUN WALK, AND GENTLEMEN'S DASH 2026
Color Me Pink 2026 is a fundraising event held at Lackawanna County Courthouse Square in Scranton, PA on September 19, 2026. The event supports the Paint the Planet Pink fundraising campaign, which shows a current total raised of $14,960.41 toward a $200,000 goal.
The event program includes multiple participatory options:
- 5K race
- Family Fun Walk
- Gentlemen's Dash
The 5K course begins on Linden Street between N. Washington and Adams, proceeds up Wyoming Avenue, turns onto Marion Street, runs down N. Washington Avenue, and returns to Linden Street. Walking participants follow a route that turns up Pine Street before returning on N. Washington and Linden to the finish. Volunteers with signs will be positioned along the route to direct runners and walkers. Runners are advised to stay to the right side of the road and walkers are advised to use sidewalks.
Registration includes options with bib and chip timing for the 5K and a separate fun walk entry. Participants can create a personal pledge page to collect donations and edit a profile photo and message for donors.
