The AIWO Color Me Holi 5K is a running and walking event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Washington Park in Springfield, Illinois. The event is inspired by the festival of Holi.

Activities and Features

The event includes a Holi celebration with dry, non-toxic color powder play. Other activities scheduled include a Bollywood fusion Zumba session, a henna tattoo station, and a kids' fun zone with face painting and arts and crafts. Boxed food with Indian fare is provided to all registrants.

Registration and Awards

Registration is $35 per entry. Participants who register by April 10, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt. Finisher awards, including medals and certificates, are given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in each age bracket (10-year brackets).

Charity and Logistics

The event is a fundraiser. Proceeds benefit The Motherland Community Project, a volunteer-based organization that creates community gardens. Jogging strollers are permitted, but pets are not allowed.
