Event Overview
The Color Fun Run is a community fitness event held in Ferdinand, Indiana, organized by DC Multisport in collaboration with the Tri-county YMCA. The event takes place on a looped trail at 18th Street Park, starting at the YMCA facility located at 131 East 16th Street. Participants are invited to run or walk during this non-competitive gathering held at the beginning of the Easter holiday weekend.
Course and Distances
The course consists of a 1.1 mile loop. Participants have the flexibility to choose their total distance by completing up to three laps:
- 1.1 miles (1 lap)
- 2.2 miles (2 laps)
- 3.3 miles (3 laps)
While there are no specific placement awards, the event includes a prize drawing system. Participants earn one ticket for each completed lap, with a maximum of three tickets per person, which can be used to enter for a chance to win completion prizes.
Participation Details
The event is open to individual runners and families. Registration options include single entry or family admission for groups of three or more. Participants who register by March 19 are provided with an event shirt. Those registering after this date or on the day of the event are encouraged to wear a white shirt to best display the color powder used during the run.
