5K Any Way and Color Fun Run for Accessibility
The 6th Annual Lower Makefield Township 5K Any Way and Color Fun Run for Accessibility takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Macclesfield Park, 1000 River Rd, Yardley, PA. The event supports Lower Makefield Parks and Recreation in their effort to improve park accessibility and welcomes participants who run, walk, or roll.
The course is a very flat four loop route fully within Macclesfield Park. Color zones are placed on the course and participants pass through them multiple times. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K: passes the color zone four times.
- 1 mile: passes the color zone three times.
Registration opens May 8, 2026 at 12:00. Online registration completed by October 9, 2026 receives the stated pre-registration rates; limited on-site registration will be available. Fees for pre-registration are $35 for Lower Makefield Township residents and $40 for nonresidents. Fees increase after the pre-registration deadline and on the day of the event.
All paying participants registered by September 27 will receive a race shirt; later registrants will receive shirts as available. The first 250 registrants, including children 5 and under, will receive the 2026 race medal upon completion. Children age 5 and under are free when accompanied by an adult, limited to one free child per registered adult.
A Color Celebration concludes the event, during which participants may gather and release additional color together. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
