Collinsville Hills 5K & Fun Run
The Collinsville Hills 5K & Fun Run is the third annual fundraising event presented by the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce and Refuge Community Center as part of the Collinsville Founders Day Celebration. The event takes place in downtown Collinsville at 113 S. 11th Street and includes a Fun Run/Walk and a 5K.

The Fun Run invites participants to bring dogs; runners who run with a dog may enter the "Fastest Paws Contest" with a first-place prize. Dogs are also permitted in the 5K, which awards first, second, and third place prizes in each age and gender group. A "Best Pet Costume" contest for runners with dogs will award first through third place prizes. All finishers receive a finisher's medal.
Partial proceeds support Refuge Community Center programs, including afterschool and summer camp activities for local students. Early registration guarantees an event T-shirt and a discounted price and ends March 29. Early packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at Refuge Community Center, 1008 W. Main Street, Collinsville. Late registration runs from March 30 through April 3, with packet pick-up and in-person registration available on the event day beginning at 8:15am at 113 S. 11th Street.
