Event overview
The Collinsville Hills 5K & Fun Run takes place on April 4, 2026, in downtown Collinsville at 113 S. 11th Street (T3 Coffee Co.). The event is presented by the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce and Refuge Community Center as part of the Collinsville Founders Day Celebration. This is the third annual running of the event.

Registration and packet pick-up
Early registration offers a guaranteed event t-shirt and a discounted price and ends March 29. Late registration runs from March 30 through April 3. Early packet pick-up is available at Refuge Community Center, 1008 W. Main Street. Day-of packet pick-up is available at 113 S. 11th Street. All runners will receive a finisher's medal. In-person registration on the day of the event is available beginning with day-of packet pick-up.
Awards and special features
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are awarded per age and gender group in the 5K. Dogs are welcome to run in both the Fun Run and the 5K. Fun Run participants who run with a dog may be entered in a Fastest Paws contest with a first-place prize. A Best Pet Costume contest for runners with dogs will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
Fundraising
Partial proceeds support Refuge Community Center programs for afterschool and summer camp activities for local students. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
