Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage Redlegs Run
The Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage Redlegs Run is a fundraising event presented by TriHealth that benefits the Reds Community Fund. The event in 2026 marks the 25th annual Redlegs Run and takes place at Great American Ball Park and on streets of downtown Cincinnati. All participants receive a custom race medal and a race shirt. The 5K and 10K are professionally chip timed with live results. A post-race party will be held in the First Star Fan Zone. Each participant also receives one View Level ticket to the Monday, June 15 Reds vs. Mets home game.
Distances and formats include:
- 10K (6.2 miles) starts at Great American Ball Park and finishes inside near home plate.
- 5K (3.1 miles) starts at Great American Ball Park and finishes inside near home plate.
- One Mile course starts at Great American Ball Park, turns near Paycor Stadium, finishes inside.
- Gapper's Kids Fun Run for children 10 and under on the ballpark warning track.
Awards and logistics: the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K are honored on the field prior to the June 15 home game, and top overall finishers in those races will each toss a ceremonial first pitch prior to that game. Packet pick-up is at Great American Ball Park and bibs are assigned first-come, first-served at pick-up. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; if the event is canceled fees are considered a tax-deductible donation to the Reds Community Fund.
Volunteer information notes that over 150 volunteers are needed, volunteers must be 16 or older, and volunteers receive a race shirt, breakfast, and two View Level tickets to the June 15 home game. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
