Coleraine Campus 5k (NI&U Championship)
The Coleraine Campus 5k takes place at Ulster University, Cromore Road, Coleraine BT52 1SA on 21 August 2026. Springwell Running Club is the event organiser and the race serves as the NI and Ulster 5k Road Championship in association with Athletics Northern Ireland.

A Junior Mile Fun Run opens the programme, followed by three separate 5 km races seeded by predicted finish time. The three 5 km races are for predicted finishes of 22 minutes or greater, between 18 and 22 minutes, and for runners who can complete 5 km in under 18 minutes. To qualify for podium cash in the first two 5 km races an athlete must not run more than 30 seconds faster than the advertised quickest target time for that race.
The course is entirely within the university campus and comprises just under four laps of the main campus road loop. Most of the route uses a closed single carriageway. The start area and the finish chute will be on sections of the road loop that are closed to traffic for the event.
Entries open on 4 May 2026 and close on 14 August 2026. Minimum age is 12. Entry fees are listed as ANI affiliated £20 and unaffiliated £22, including booking fee.
Prize money is awarded across the three races and by age category, with higher cash prizes for the elite race and a £250 reward for any new male or female course record.
