Event overview
Coldwater Trail is a mountain bike and trail running event in Anniston, Alabama, produced by Life Time. The event is scheduled for October 30 and 31, 2026. The inaugural Life Time Coldwater Trail took place in 2025. During the 2025 event, some finishers received Leadville qualifier coins for entry into Leadville Race Series events.
Race details and course
The venue is Coldwater Mountain, which features nearly 60 miles of red-dirt singletrack, pine-needle covered trails, and supplementary technical lines. The trail network includes beginner, intermediate, and advanced routes.
Athletes in the 100K MTB and the 50K Run are eligible to gain entry into the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 MTB or the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run as part of the Leadville Race Series qualification process.
Registration opens January 2, 2026 for Life Time members and January 9, 2026 for the general public. Life Time members with six months of Club-Access Membership receive early access to event registration or guaranteed lottery entry, with an exception for Leadville Trail 100s.
