Coldwater Trail Race
The Coldwater Trail Race is a multi-day mountain bike and trail running event at Coldwater Mountain in Anniston, Alabama. The event is scheduled across October 30 to November 1, 2026 and is organized around the Coldwater Mountain trail system.
Coldwater Mountain features about 60 miles of purpose-built singletrack that range from beginner-friendly flow trails to technical, rock-strewn descents. The 2026 program adds two new mountain bike race events and two new trail run events alongside established distances.
Race distances for 2026 include:
- 40 mile MTB
- 17 mile MTB
- 50K trail run
- 25K trail run
The weekend also includes practical and community-oriented services and activities. Packet pickup and late registration are available on Friday and Saturday. There is an evening fun ride and fun run, pizza and beverages at the local headquarters, snacks and beverages at the finish area, and showers and food available for finishers. Live music and additional food offerings are scheduled during the weekend. An easy mountain bike shake-out ride along Ladiga Trail to McClellan Trails is part of the event program.
