Coldwater Trail Race

Coldwater Trail Race is a multi day mountain bike and trail running event held at Coldwater Mountain in Anniston, Alabama from October 30 to November 1, 2026. The mountain features about 60 miles of purpose-built singletrack that ranges from beginner-friendly flow to technical, rock-strewn descents.

The 2026 program adds two new mountain bike race events and two new trail run race events. The weekend combines competitive races with on-site services and community activities.

The published schedule shows organized activities across three days. Packet pickup and late registration are offered on Friday and again for run events on Saturday and Sunday. Friday includes an evening fun ride and fun run, plus pizza and beverages at NEABA headquarters. Saturday focuses on mountain bike racing, snacks and beverages at the finish area, and showers, food, and drink available for finishers; live music and food are planned outside NEABA headquarters. Sunday includes trail run events and an MTB shake-out ride that links the Ladiga Trail to the McClellan Trails over a 12 mile easy route.
