Colby's Path to the Cure 2026
Colby’s Path to the Cure is a fundraising 5K run and walk held on September 19, 2026, in King Phillip's Stockade, 70 Columbus Ave, Springfield, MA 01105. The event includes an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K option.
Registration opens July 17. Early registration pricing lists an adult fee of $25 and a child fee of $10 for those 13 and under. As of September 1 the adult fee increases to $30; t-shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed and may depend on timing of registration. Registration remains available up to the event start.
All registered participants receive T-shirts while supplies last. Free parking is available throughout King Phillip's Stockade. Participants and attendees gather at the pavilion nearest the park entrance. After the run and walk there is an outdoor family-friendly gathering at the pavilion with music, raffles, face painting, and lawn games. Boxed lunches are available for purchase with registration until September 3 or can be purchased independently; menu options include turkey, cold cut, ham, and roasted vegetable selections.
The event raises funds and awareness for synovial sarcoma research and provides information about diagnosis and care for this form of soft tissue sarcoma. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
