Coffee Run (5K) - Newark, DE
The Coffee Run (5K) is scheduled for April 12, 2026, at Glasgow Park, 2275 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. This is the fifth annual edition organized as a fundraiser for the Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association (DATA).
The event features a 5K course with a course map provided for directional purposes. Bib pickup and race-day registration take place at Glasgow Park on the day of the event. Runners and walkers receive official Coffee Run swag, along with complimentary snacks and coffee.
Awards are given for Overall Male and Overall Female, plus the top three finishers in each age group for male and female divisions. Age groups are: 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. Overall and masters awards are determined by gun time; age group awards are based on chip time.
The Coffee Run supports DATA, an organization that represents athletic trainers in Delaware. Athletic trainers are licensed healthcare providers who focus on injury and illness prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, and emergency care and preparedness for physically active people. DATA works in secondary schools, collegiate and professional athletic departments, as well as clinics and medical offices, and advocates for the health and safety of athletes and active individuals in the state.
