Cocoa Classic 5K - St. Louis
The Cocoa Classic 5K takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, on the Washington University in St. Louis Danforth Campus. The route runs through the campus grounds, a 169-acre site of Collegiate Gothic limestone and granite laid out around quadrangles, with landscape planning originally by the Olmsted firm. The campus is an accredited arboretum and is noted for its trees in early November.
The course passes near Francis Olympic Field, which served as the main stadium for the 1904 Olympic Games and is described as the oldest modern Olympic stadium still in use. A course map is forthcoming; the route will run through the Danforth Campus.
Registration fees vary by date: $35 on or before October 8, $40 from October 9 through November 7, and $45 on race day. Timing is provided with ChronoTrack chip timing; the timing device is a single-use B-tag on the back of the race bib.
Every finisher receives a Cocoa Classic shirt. Medals are awarded to overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and age group winners. On race day, Washington University parking is open to visitors; participants may park in any unreserved campus space or in the Danforth University Center garage without a permit. Race-day bib pickup will be available at the start; early pickup details will be posted closer to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
