Cobble Beach Lighthouse Fun Run
Located in Kemble, Ontario, the Cobble Beach Lighthouse Fun Run offers a variety of distances set against the backdrop of the Cobble Beach trail system and golf cart paths. The route begins at the Wedding Lawn, situated between holes 9 and 18, and concludes at the Cobble Beach Lighthouse.
The event features the following distances:
- 10 km Timed Run (consisting of two course laps)
- 5 km Timed Run / Jog / Walk
- 1 km Kids’ Fun Run (an out-and-back course)
Registered participants receive a bib with a timing chip and a participation medal. A complimentary beverage is provided at the finish line for all runners. Following the races, a social hour is held at the Pavilion featuring music, food, and an awards ceremony for the top three finishers in the timed categories.
The course is open to runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs, provided participants exercise caution on the trails. Running spikes are not permitted on the paths. The event is scheduled to take place regardless of rain, snow, or shine. Proceeds from the event support the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce and Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce.
