The Coastal Pathway Ultra
The Coastal Pathway Ultra takes place on the North West Coast of Tasmania. Participants run along the Coastal Pathway track, traveling from Latrobe to Ulverstone and returning. The course utilizes infrastructure developed through the North West Coastal Pathway Project, which includes sections completed between 2022 and 2023 such as Sulphur Creek to Penguin, West Ulverstone, Leith to Don, Ambleside to Latrobe, and the link between Turners Beach and Leith.
The event offers several distances to accommodate various running goals, all utilizing the established pedestrian and cycling infrastructure of the region.
The available event distances include:
- 64 km solo ultramarathon
- 64 km teams relay
- 42.2 km full marathon
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km run
