Coalinga Turkey Trot
The Coalinga Turkey Trot is an inaugural running and walking event held on Thanksgiving morning in Coalinga, California. The race takes place at the Coalinga-Huron Sports Complex located on Cambridge Avenue. This community gathering is designed as a family-friendly event and proceeds from the race benefit the Coalinga Lions Club.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5K (3.1 miles) running race
- 2K (1.2 miles) walking or running race
- Virtual 5K Race (3.1 miles) completed at any time on Thanksgiving day
The event is held rain or shine. While strollers are permitted on the course, pets are not allowed at the venue. All registered participants receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt as part of their entry.
