cmX 5K at Shoreline Aquatic Park
cmX 5K is organized by the CMAA Southern California Chapter Foundation and takes place on February 20, 2027, at Shoreline Aquatic Park, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, California. The event includes in-person and virtual options.

- 1K Kids Run for children up to 8 years old by race date
- Virtual 5K
The course starts and finishes behind the aquarium next to Pierpont Landing. Runners and walkers follow a path around the marina, pass through Shoreline Village, and continue out along the jetty where the Queen Mary is visible. A water station is located at the entrance to the jetty and can be used twice during the 5K.
Race packets may be picked up on Friday, February 19 at Sports Basement in Long Beach between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Parking is available a short walk away at the multi-level aquarium parking lot; fees in that lot are charged by the hour. Virtual 5K participants complete the distance on their own and will receive a mailed shirt and medal after the event. Registration fees are listed for each event category.
