Clowne Half Marathon 22 November 2026
The Clowne Half Marathon is a chip-timed road race of 13.1 miles that runs through Clowne and surrounding villages. The course is described as undulating and is run as a single lap. The event starts at The Arc Leisure Centre and finishes at Clowne Community Centre. Organisers provide a finisher's hoody and will donate £1 from each entry to the Tiny Tim Trust.
The race is governed by UKA rules. Headphones are not permitted other than bone-conducting types. Entrants must be over 17 years old on race day. There is a cut-off time of 3 hours and participants may be asked to withdraw if they cannot complete the course within this timeframe. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. A race licence is listed as TBC and the entry limit is 900.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. Limited changing facilities are available at the start and there are no showers. Race HQ is The Arc, High Street, Clowne, Chesterfield S43 4JY. Race numbers will be posted to entrants who entered before Monday 9 November; later entries collect numbers at Race HQ on the day. Baggage is transferred to the finish and parking is not available at Race HQ.
Entry fees are shown as £32 for affiliated runners and £34 for unaffiliated runners. Entry on the day is not available. The organisers state that refunds and deferrals are restricted and that numbers can be transferred up to 9am on Monday 9 November 2026, with hoody size not guaranteed for replacement participants.
