Clowne Half Marathon 2026
The Clowne Half Marathon is a chip timed, road race of 13.1 Miles that runs through Clowne and nearby villages on an undulating single‑lap course. The event starts at The Arc Leisure Centre and finishes at the Clowne Community Centre. The race is governed by UKA rules and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Entry is limited to 900 places; at the time of this listing 333 places remained. Entry fees are listed as £32 for affiliated runners and £34 for unaffiliated runners. The organisers will donate £1 from each entry to the Tiny Tim Trust. There is a three hour cut off time for the course and runners may be asked to withdraw if they cannot complete it within that timeframe. The wearing of headphones is not permitted except for bone conducting headphones.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. Limited changing facilities are available at the start and there are no showers. Baggage is transferred to the finish. Numbers are posted to entrants who entered before Monday 9 November; later entries collect numbers on race day. A finisher's hoody is provided; XS is not available and entrants who select XS will receive a SMALL. Numbers may be transferred to another competitor until 9am on Monday 9 November 2026.
