Cloud Nine

The Cloud 9 Hill Race, organized by Congleton Harriers, is a scenic and challenging 9-mile off-road race starting in Congleton, Cheshire. The course ascends 1,250 feet to the summit of Bosley Cloud (1,125 ft) and returns via the ancient Bridestones, dating back to around 2000 BC. Classified as a Category BM fell race, it features a well-marked and marshalled route without GPS navigation.

The event emphasizes safety with mandatory waterproof clothing and kit checks. Entry fees partly support the National Trust, as the race traverses their land.
