Cloud Nine

Cloud 9 Hill Race, organized by Congleton Harriers, is a scenic 9-mile (14.5 km) off-road hill race from Congleton to the summit of Bosley Cloud (1125 ft) and back via the Bridestones. The mostly forested course climbs about 1250 ft (381 m) of ascent and is run under FRA rules, with chip timing and marshalled, well-marked routes. The route crosses National Trust land, offering dramatic ridge scenery and challenging terrain.

Start and registration are at Brunswick Wharf, Congleton, with maps provided and a supportive race atmosphere. A modest per-runner donation to the National Trust is included in entry; dogs and MP3 players are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
