Joe Duffy Group Clontarf Half Marathon - Autumn Edition
The event is a Half Marathon held with start and finish at EastPoint Business Park in Clontarf. The out and back route follows Clontarf Promenade, crosses Bull Island and returns along the same corridor, providing recurring views of Dublin Bay and Howth Head. The course is professionally measured and certified and has mixed terrain with a listed maximum elevation of 93 m.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher medal and a bespoke event t shirt. Finish-line refreshments, a photowall and a discount at Life Style Sports are part of the published inclusions. Toilets are available at the start and finish and along the route at about 4 km, 8.5 km, 14 km and 17.5 km. Water stations with cups are located at approximately 4.3 km, 8.5 km, 14 km and 17.5 km.
Event logistics note parking at EastPoint multi storey car park and Molloy & Sherry car park and public transport access via DART, Dublin Bus route N4, or by bicycle where covered parking is provided. A secure bag drop is located beside the start and finish area; only one small waterproof bag per participant is permitted and the tear off label from the race number should be used. Wave starts are organised by expected finish time with separate walkers wave. Race numbers may be posted or collected depending on registration timing.
