Joe Duffy Group Clontarf Half Marathon - Autumn Edition
The event is a coastal Half Marathon that starts and finishes at EastPoint Business Park and follows an out-and-back route along Clontarf Promenade, across Bull Island, and back. The course is professionally measured and described as flat and scenic, with wide coastal views of Dublin Bay and Howth Head.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher’s medal, a bespoke event t-shirt, finish-line refreshments, a photowall, and a participant discount at Life Style Sports. A secure bag drop is located beside the start/finish area; only one small waterproof bag is permitted. Toilets are available at the start/finish area and at points along the route, and water stations provide cups of water at multiple locations.
Practical information notes parking in EastPoint’s multi-storey car parks and nearby Molloy & Sherry car park, and public transport access via DART (Clontarf Station, about a 15-minute walk), Dublin Bus (Route N4), and covered bike parking. Showers and changing facilities are not provided. Headphones are allowed but participants must stay aware of marshals, Gardaí, pedestrians, and other runners.
A walkers wave is available for those who will walk the full course. A cut-off time applies and age restrictions follow Athletic Ireland’s legislation. Race numbers are posted or collected depending on registration timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
