About the race
The Clontarf Half Marathon Summer Edition is a coastal road race held in Dublin on 03/07/2027. The out-and-back, professionally measured course starts and finishes at EastPoint Business Park and follows Clontarf Promenade across Bull Island, offering wide views of Dublin Bay and Howth Head. The event is run on road terrain and reaches a maximum elevation of 48 m. Entries include chip timing, an event T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments, and access to event photography.
There is a secure bag drop beside the start/finish area (one small waterproof bag per participant) and toilets at the start/finish and along the route at approximately 4 km, 8.5 km, 14 km and 17.5 km. Water stations supplying cups are located at 4.3 km, 8.5 km, 14 km and 17.5 km. Parking is available in EastPoint and nearby car parks; drivers are asked to arrive before 09:00 due to road closures. Public transport options are available including DART (Clontarf Station about a 15-minute walk) and Dublin Bus Route N4; covered bike parking is provided.
