Clonee 10K Road Race
The Clonee 10K is an annual road race organized by Dunboyne Athletic Club. The event features a single distance for participants:

The course consists of a fast, flat, and looped route through the Meath countryside. The race starts and finishes near Clonee village. As an Athletics Ireland permit event, it adheres to official regulations and includes chip timing for all participants. The minimum age for entry is 16 years.
Race headquarters are located at the Grasshopper Pub in Clonee. Registration includes the mailing of race numbers for those who sign up at least one week before the event date; otherwise, numbers can be collected at the headquarters on the evening of the race. Post-race refreshments are provided for participants, with a tradition of serving pizza at the local pub following the conclusion of the run.
Awards are presented across several divisions, including men's and ladies' individual categories, age categories, and club teams. To qualify for team prizes, participants must be members of clubs registered with Athletics Ireland. All profits generated from the event are directed to Dunboyne Athletic Club.
