Cliveden Classic 10k 2026
The Cliveden Classic is an evening trail running event held on the grounds of the National Trust Cliveden in Buckinghamshire. Organised by the Burnham Joggers, the race takes place on a route that incorporates the estate's natural terrain. The event is held under an England Athletics licence.
The race consists of a single distance:
- 10 km
The course is marked with yellow pin flags, arrows, and red and white tape. Due to limited daylight, a cut-off time of 45 minutes for the first lap is enforced. Participants who do not reach this mark within the allocated time will not be permitted to start the second lap. The National Trust prohibits the use of spiked footwear on this course.
Participants must collect their race numbers and timing chips on the day of the event at the start and finish area. There are no changing facilities on-site, and bag drop space is limited. Water is provided at the start and finish lines, though runners are encouraged to bring their own bottles. Medical support, including first aiders and an ambulance, is stationed at various points along the route, including the woodland car park and riverbank.
Parking is available in the Paddock area via the Main Gate starting in the evening. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as winners in age categories ranging from 40 to over 70. All finishers receive a magnetic medal.
