Clipper XC Series
The Clipper XC Series is a four-week cross-country race series held on Wednesday evenings on July 22, July 29, August 5, and August 12 at the Ward Athletic Complex at Columbiana High School, 700 Columbiana Waterford Rd, Columbiana, Ohio 44408. Each evening features a single chip-timed race for all entrants.
Registration for each week is $10 and begins at 6:00pm on the day of the race. A registration option covering all four weeks is listed at $40. Participants who complete all four races receive a series t-shirt. Checks are payable to the Columbiana Athletic Department.
Course arrangements alternate by date:
- July 22 and August 5: middle school 3K course
- July 29 and August 12: high school 5K course
Awards are presented to the top six males and top six females in the following divisions: Pre-Middle School, Middle School, High School, Open, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters. The series reported 700 participants in 2025. All races are chip timed and take place at the Ward Athletic Complex. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
