Event Overview
The Clinton Classic Run is an annual athletic event held in Clinton, Oklahoma. The races take place within the city's downtown area and residential neighborhoods. Participants navigate a course that includes sections of the historic Route 66. All proceeds generated from the event are used to benefit Clinton's McLain Rogers Park.
The event offers several individual race distances to accommodate different preferences:
- 5K Run: A certified route that passes through downtown and residential areas.
- 10K Run: A course consisting of two loops of the certified 5K route.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: A non-competitive option intended for casual running, jogging, or walking.
The race starts near the intersection of Frisco Avenue and Fifth Street. Due to liability insurance restrictions, pets and other animals are not permitted to participate in any of the events. For individuals who want to provide financial support but cannot attend or participate in the physical races, a Ghost Runner registration category is available as a donation option.
