Climbing for Change : event description
Climbing for Change takes place on September 26, 2026 at Rabbit Hill Snow Resort in Edmonton, Alberta. Over 24 hours, participants climb and descend a ski hill to match the elevation of a chosen mountain.
Participants select a mountain elevation to reproduce. Options listed include:
- Everest 29,029 FT
- Logan 19,551 FT
- Matterhorn 14,692 FT
Climbing can be completed solo or as a team, with teams dividing the required elevation among members. The event includes a fundraising element: participants select an organization from a list of registered Canadian charities and raise funds for that cause.
