Course and logistics
- 25K
- 8K
The longer course is described as roughly 15 miles with about 5,000 ft of climbing and descending on technical terrain; the shorter course is roughly 5 miles with about 1,400 ft of climbing and descending and runs on ski slopes. The 25K includes two on-course aid stations plus start/finish water and electrolyte support; the 8K has at least one on-course aid station. This is a cupless event, so participants are asked to carry their own hydration. Cutoffs are in place at several points on the 25K. All finishers receive a race finisher pin and there are awards for top male, female, and non-binary finishers; the longer distance also has sponsor-provided prizes for top finishers.
Additional weekend activities include a shakeout run, bib pickup and a pre-race dinner, a live podcast, and a spring training camp offered separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
