About the race
The Cliff Runner 5K is a community road race held in Sea Cliff, New York in May 2026. Proceeds support the department’s response, service, and care for the Village of Sea Cliff and nearby communities.
The course begins at the Sea Cliff Firehouse and covers a certified 5 kilometer route through the town, including a stretch along Sea Cliff Beach. Shuttle buses are provided to the starting area from the Sea Cliff Fire Department. A free barbecue will be available for participants near the finish.
Event amenities listed for participants include T shirts guaranteed to the first 250 registrants, a vendor village, raffles, live music from the Sea Cliff band Chicken Head, live and text results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for those registered three weeks in advance.
Awards are presented as medals for the top three male and female finishers overall, for top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 14 and under through 85 plus, and for top three male and female finishers in Fire, Police, EMS, and Military categories. Special categories are eligible for both overall and age group awards.
