Cliff Runner 5K
The Cliff Runner 5K is organized by the Sea Cliff Fire Department and takes place in Sea Cliff, New York, with event facilities at the Sea Cliff Yacht Club, 42 The Boulevard, Sea Cliff, NY 11579. Shuttle buses are provided to the starting area at the Sea Cliff Fire Department.
The course begins at the Sea Cliff Firehouse and covers a certified 5K route through the village and along Sea Cliff Beach, finishing near the beach where a free BBQ is available for participants.
Event amenities include T shirts guaranteed for the first 250 runners, raffles, a vendor village, live music from the Sea Cliff band Chicken Head, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrants who register three weeks in advance.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female overall finishers, top three male and female in each age group (14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70 to 74; 75 to 79; 80 to 84; 85 plus), and top three male and female in Fire, Police, EMS, and Military categories. Special categories are eligible for both overall and age group awards.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; registrants who register within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text shortly after registration. Registration is not yet open for the listed event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
