Cliff Runner 5K
The Cliff Runner 5K is a community road race organized by the Sea Cliff Fire Department in Sea Cliff, New York, with the event base at the Sea Cliff Yacht Club at 42 The Boulevard. Shuttle buses are provided to the starting line at the Sea Cliff Fire Department.
The course begins at the Sea Cliff Firehouse and covers a certified 5K route through the village, including a stretch along Sea Cliff Beach. The finish area includes a free barbecue for participants and on-site event features.
Event amenities include T-shirts guaranteed for the first 250 runners, raffles, a vendor village, live music from the Sea Cliff band Chicken Head, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance.
Awards are given as medals to the top three male and female overall finishers, to the top three male and female in standard age groups (14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85+), and to the top three male and female in Fire, Police, EMS, and Military categories. These special categories may also be eligible for overall and age group awards.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the race; a bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.
