Clew Bay Half Marathon & 10K
The Clew Bay event in Louisburgh, County Mayo, includes both a Half Marathon and a 10K race and takes place on 12 September 2026. The course passes local points of interest, including a 2,200 year old dolmen, and runs close to beaches, pubs, eateries, Westport, and Croagh Patrick.
Number collection is at Louisburgh GAA grounds and clubhouse (F28 D520). Collection is available on Friday evening and on Saturday morning; numbers not collected by the stated deadline on race morning will prevent participation or an official timed result. There is a mandatory safety briefing for all participants at 10:45 AM on race day.
Refreshments are provided at the clubhouse by Louisburgh GAA and LGFA. Clubhouse facilities include toilets, changing rooms, and showers. Parking is available at the clubhouse with overflow parking organized as needed; stewards will direct vehicles to designated areas.
The event is part of a long-running local series and is commonly scheduled before the Dublin City Marathon.
