Ohio (Cleveland Area) SCADaddle 5K Walk & Run for Research
The first annual Ohio (Cleveland Area) SCADaddle is a chip-timed 5K run/walk to raise funds for Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) research. The course at Longwood Park in Macedonia, Ohio runs on a mix of paved pathways and wooded trails and covers 5K (3.106 Miles).
Registration opens May 9, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026. The standard registration fee is $45.00; there are no general refunds. Participants who raise at least $1,000 will have their $45.00 registration fee refunded as a fundraising award. A fundraising page is added automatically during registration but fundraising is not required.
All participants will be timed and awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top male and top female in each age category: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. To be guaranteed a T-shirt, registration should be completed by October 24, 2026. Post-race activities include refreshments, vendors, and a SCAD store.
