Cleveland Run for Freedom 5K
The Cleveland Run for Freedom 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 at Freedom Park in downtown Cleveland, Georgia. The event offers both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K Run/Walk option.
Registration information includes an online registration period that opens March 26, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. All registration is online; no walk up cash registration will be available.
In-person participants receive a race T-shirt if registered by the shirt guarantee deadline of June 10, 2026, plus a race bib, course support, and post race refreshments. Virtual participants receive a race T-shirt and should provide an email address during registration so a mailing address can be obtained. T-shirts are not guaranteed after June 10 and will be available as supply lasts.
The course starts and finishes in Freedom Park and follows a scenic double loop 5K route through a quiet residential area.
Awards are presented to first and second place male and female finishers in Overall and Masters 50 plus categories, and in age groups 10 and under, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Awards will not be mailed and must be picked up at the awards table if a participant leaves before the ceremony. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
