Cleveland Marathon
The Cleveland Marathon is a multi-race road running event taking place May 15-16, 2027 in Cleveland. The event program includes several standard race distances and related community and support programs.

The event operates a charity program that partners with local organizations. In 2026 the marathon program raised $500,000 for local charities through partnerships with 43 organizations and more than 470 participating runners. The event has helped raise over $5 million for local charitable organizations.
Organizers revised the full marathon route in 2026. The redesigned course reintroduced long straightaways and active cheer zones, returned the second half along Lake Avenue through Lakewood, added a brief two-mile stretch along the shoreway, and finishes by running through the Hingetown neighborhood into downtown.
