Event Information
The event is the eighth annual Cleveland Kurentovanje Kurent Dash. It is scheduled for February 14, 2026.
The event consists of a 5K run or walk. Participants have three registration options: a 5K with a T-shirt, a 5K with a winter hat, or a 5K with both a winter hat and a T-shirt.
The race is chip-timed using the MyLaps BibTag system. Registration and packet pick-up begin at 9:00 AM. The start time for the 5K run/walk is 10:00 AM.
The event is based at the Slovenian National Home at 6417 St Clair Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio. Post-race festivities begin at this location at 10:30 AM. A parade starts at 12:00 PM.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 14 & Under to 65 & Over.
Early bird registration fees are listed. Fees increase after January 31, 2026. The number of winter hats is limited to the first 135 registrants selecting that option. A participant medal is given to the first 350 participants. Registration includes one refreshment at the post-race party. Race-day registration is available.
