Clevedon Triathlon
Channel Events is staging the Clevedon Sprint Triathlon on 19 July 2026 at Salthouse Fields in Clevedon. The event is part of a weekend that also includes a SwimRun on the preceding Saturday.
The triathlon begins with an open water swim in the Marine Lake, set against the backdrop of the Victorian Clevedon Pier. The race route includes a bike leg described as fast and undulating with a loop toward the village of Portishead and roads offering sea views across the channel to Wales.
Distances:
- 750 m open water swim in Marine Lake
- 5 km run along seafront and trails
The 5 km run combines a flat paved seafront promenade with scenic trails around Poets Walk and Wains Hill, finishing back at Salthouse Fields. Photographers will be positioned near the finish.
Entry options include individual and mixed relay categories, with listed entry price at £55. Participants may opt out of receiving a medal or t shirt at the finish; medals and t shirts can be purchased for an additional £7.00 per person. The last date to purchase medals is one month before the event. If entered as a relay team, medals must be purchased for each team member.
