Clevedon Triathlon : Salthouse Fields, Clevedon
Channel Events stages a sprint triathlon at Salthouse Fields in Clevedon. The swim takes place in the Marine Lake with the Victorian Clevedon Pier visible from the course. The bike route follows a loop toward Portishead on roads with sea views across the channel to Wales. The run returns competitors to Salthouse Fields via a mix of paved seafront promenade and trails around Poets Walk and Wains Hill.
Event distances:
- 750m open water swim in the Marine Lake
- 20km bike route with a loop toward Portishead
- 5km run along seafront and scenic trails
Entries are priced at £55. Participants may decline a medal and t shirt after the event; medals and t shirt packs can instead be purchased for £6 per person. The final date to buy medal and t shirt packs is one month before the event. Relay teams must purchase medals for each team member if they want them.
