Classique Fondation 2027
The Classique Fondation is a charity running event held in Québec on 2027-04-11 at the Centre de glace Intact Assurances, 999 Avenue de Rochebelle. The event is organized in association with the Fondation Martin‑Matte to raise awareness about traumatic brain injury and to promote overall health through regular physical activity.
The event is presented as a social race that closes the season and is offered as a donation by the company Sports Capitale. Employees and partners of the organizer are invited to contribute volunteer hours to support the fundraising effort. Organizers describe the goal as increasing public knowledge of the foundation and of traumatic brain injury.
Nearly five years have passed since the accident of the event founder, which is cited as part of the motivation for the association with the foundation. The program includes several distance options and a specific accompanist entry that is issued without a timing chip and without a result; this accompanist entry is intended only for accompanying a person with reduced mobility or a child.
