Clare Valley Trail Run : July 19, 2026
The Clare Valley Trail Run is scheduled for Sunday July 19, 2026, with all races planned to start and finish at the Clare Showgrounds. The organisers have prepared brand-new courses for 2026 that use trails in the Clare Valley, a wine region located about two hours north of the Adelaide CBD with local wineries and attractions.

The 50 km event has recommended qualifying experience; organisers prefer entrants to have completed longer trail or road races such as an ATR Summer Series long course or a half marathon with some elevation, though race results do not need to be submitted for approval. Drop bags are allowed for 50 km runners, may be delivered at bib collection or on race morning, and will be available at the Sevenhill Hotel around the 27.5 km mark. Supporters may meet runners only at designated aid stations. Buddy runners are not permitted.
Aid stations are placed at multiple points on each course and typically supply water, Huma electrolyte drink, Coke, lollies, chips and muesli bars. Mandatory gear for all 50 km runners at minimum includes a space blanket, whistle, mobile phone and the capacity to carry at least 1 L of fluids, starting with at least 500 ml. Additional items such as a waterproof jacket, thermal base layer and headwear may be required depending on the weather. ATR will offer space blankets, whistles and buffs for sale at the event.
Bibs can be collected at a Saturday bib pick-up and pre-race dinner (details TBA) or on race morning. Pricing is tiered with early bird, standard, late and very late entry fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
