Clane GAA 10k and 5k Walk/Run
The event takes place on 21 November 2026 at Clane GAA in County Kildare. It features a road race and a shorter community run and walk based around the village of Clane.
Distances:
- 10 km road race around Clane, Mainham and Butterstream
- 5 km walk and run with a family event option
The 10 km route is described as a fast course and starts on the Main Street at O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar. The 5 km event starts at Clane GAA and finishes back at Clane GAA. Parking is available at the GAA grounds. Each participant will receive a medal and the first 250 registered adult entrants will receive a T shirt.
Cash prizes are offered for the first three male and female finishers in both the 10 km and 5 km races. Prize amounts listed are:
- 10 km 1st €70, 2nd €50, 3rd €20 for male and female
- 5 km 1st €50, 2nd €30, 3rd €20 for male and female
There are also age group first prizes of €30 for specified older categories listed for male and female. Race prices increase by €5 for day of registration. Registration and number pick up take place at Clane GAA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
