Cinco K Mayo takes place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The start and finish are at the Parks and Recreation Building. The event is offered as both a live and a virtual race and is held over a distance of 5K.
Race details
Packet pickup is held on race day at the Parks and Recreation Building. Timing is provided by self and chip methods and uses a shoe tag system. Participants must wear shoe tags and a visible race bib front facing; improperly worn or missing tags or bibs will result in disqualification. Live results will be posted online and final-result corrections can be submitted through an online correction form.
Amenities and awards
The event provides a tech T-shirt, a finisher's medal and a goody bag. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers; overall winners are not eligible for age-group prizes. Age-group awards are given in five-year increments, with a "9 and under" category and standard five-year ranges (for example 10-14, 15-19, 20-24). Age-group winners are posted and medals may be picked up at the winner's table.
