Cinco K Mayo overview
Cinco K Mayo is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Parks and Recreation Building, 7330 Old Spring Street, Mount Pleasant, WI 53406. The event is offered in both live and virtual formats, with the start and finish located at the Parks and Recreation Building.
The event distance is 5K. Packet pickup takes place on race day at the Parks and Recreation Building. Timing is provided via a shoe tag chip system and self timing. Participants must wear shoe tags and race bibs correctly to be timed; improper or missing tags will result in no time and possible removal from the course for insurance reasons.
Event features listed for participants include a tech T-shirt, a finisher's medal (new medals only guaranteed for preregistered entries), a goody bag, and awards. Awards include overall top three male and female finishers and age group awards posted by 5-year increments with a separate 9 and under category. Overall winners are not eligible to win their age groups. Age groups are not capped. Results are posted live on 5Kevents.org and chip start timing means finishing order by gun time may differ from chip order.
