About the race
The Cincinnati Turkey Trot takes place in Cincinnati, OH on November 28, 2026. The event offers multiple race distances on a course that is entirely on paved trails and carries USATF certification OH20014DH.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The event is chip timed and provides course time limits for each distance (5K 1 hour 20 minutes; 10K 1 hour 50 minutes; Half Marathon 3 hours 30 minutes). Pacers will be available at the start holding pace signs to help participants reach target finish times. Water stations along the course supply water, and half marathon stations also offer a sports drink.
Finish-line amenities include a commemorative finisher medal and donuts from Holtman’s Donuts. Participant gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Packet pickup is available before the event at Tri State Running Company in Cincinnati and at the event site on race morning; participant gear must be collected in person or a fee applies for later mailing. There is no gear check on site.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for the half marathon and 5K chip-timed categories. The run supports Whole Again, an organization that provides meals and enrichment programming for at-risk youth.
