Christmas in July Half Marathon and 5K - Chicago area
The Christmas in July Half Marathon and 5K is scheduled for July 18, 2026 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The event takes place at Busse Forest - Busse Lake Boating Center Picnic Grove #25 inside Busse Woods Forest Preserve.

Early packet pickup is offered Friday, July 17, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM near the Start/Finish at Busse Forest; the White Fun-Races Trailer will be on site. Race-day packet pickup and check-in are also provided.
Event features include summer-themed Christmas swag and a blinking light finisher's medal. A post-race Christmas party follows the 5K. A team referral bonus structure is in place: when a team reaches five participants, the first four receive $5 cash back and the fifth and subsequent team members receive a $5 discount on their fee.
