Holiday Themed Summer Race in Eugene
The Christmas 5K/10K/Half Marathon in July takes place at Kiwanis Park in Eugene, Oregon. This event combines the festive spirit of the holiday season with the warm weather of summer. The courses are located primarily on a paved river trail along the river, providing a flat and fast surface for participants. The race is open to runners and walkers of all levels, provided they can maintain a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile.
Participants can choose from the following distances:

- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual Half Marathon
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 5K
The event features self-serve water stations positioned approximately every 1.5 miles along the route. All athletes who reach the finish line receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories, including Masters (40+), Grand Master (50+), and Senior Master (60+).
Groups of five or more participants can register as a team to receive a discount. For those unable to attend the physical location in Eugene, a virtual option is available where participants can run at a location of their choice and submit their times online to receive their race materials by mail.
