Course, timing and services
The courses run along the river and are described as flat and fast. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must finish at a pace no slower than 16 minutes per mile. RaceJoy will provide live GPS tracking, progress alerts, and send-a-cheer features for tracking and spectator interaction.
Registration, packet and virtual race
Registration has multiple pricing tiers (preview, early bird, regular, late, and race day) with different fees listed for each distance and virtual entries. Participants who register by late June are guaranteed race swag in their size; afterwards swag is while supplies last. Virtual participants may run where they choose, submit times online by the end of race day, and receive shipped virtual packages for continental US addresses.
Awards, volunteers and partners
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt. Awards are given to top overall finishers, age-based masters categories, and top three in 5-year age groups from 10 & under through 75+. A volunteer incentive program offers a $50 Visa gift card under specified recruitment and attendance conditions. The organizer is seeking a charity partner and is accepting sponsors.
