Punk Panther Christmas Cracker
Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a trail running event held on Saturday 12th December 2026 based at Otley Cricket Club, Cross Green, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 1RB. The event offers three route options with differing distances and total climb.
- 12 miles, 1700 ft climb
- 19 miles, 2200 ft climb
- 32 miles, 3400 ft climb
There are three checkpoints on the course. The 32 mile route visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3. The 19 mile route visits CP1 and CP3. The 12 mile route visits CP3 only. Checkpoints provide water, soft drinks, energy bars and snacks, with vegan and gluten free options available.
Ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker. Trail race entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Trackers display location and include an emergency button; they must be worn when supplied. Maximum entrants are 100 and minimum age is 18. Registration and race administration are based at Otley Cricket Club; dogs are not permitted inside the cricket club.
Competitors must carry a specified minimum kit at all times. Required items include a suitable bag, waterproof jacket with taped seams, fluids and cup, nutrition, survival or bivvy bag, whistle, mobile phone with organiser contact stored, tracker if supplied, hat or buff, gloves, personal first aid kit, hard copy map or route description and a head torch.
