About the race
Phoenix Running stages the Surrey Cakeathon on Saturday 06 March 2027 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey KT12 2JG. The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out and back loop along the River Thames and the overall course has no elevation gain or loss.

This is a timed event with a seven hour overall time limit. Runners may complete as many or as few laps as they wish; completing one lap constitutes a finish for that distance. The organiser operates a flexible rock up and run start within a one hour start window and may accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance.
The aid station will be stocked with a variety of cakes and bakes. Participants are encouraged to bring homemade bakes and there will be trophies awarded to the top three bakes as judged by the organiser. The event offers a standard entry with a finishers' medal and a lower cost no medal entry priced at £20. Listed entry prices include £37.95 for affiliated entries and £39.95 for unaffiliated entries.
