Chisholm Trail Trot 5K : Clearwater, KS
The Chisholm Trail Trot takes place in Clearwater, Kansas, using a grass cross-country course that crosses portions of the historic Chisholm Trail. The event program includes a main 5K race and a kids Tots Trot of about 400 m.

The starting line for the 5K is located just east of the football field. A black arch marks the start and a red arch marks the finish. Packet pickup is held on race morning at a tent located near the finish area, just south of the middle school parking lot. Parking is available in the Clearwater Middle School parking lot.
Postrace arrangements include water, fruit, and donuts. All participants in the Tots Trot receive a medal. Cash prizes are awarded to top three finishers in male and female divisions age 18 and above: 1st $75, 2nd $50, 3rd $30. Separate cash prizes are awarded for age 17 and below: 1st $50, 2nd $40, 3rd $25. The event is planned to be chip timed; timing services are pending.
