Event overview
The Chilly Willy Winter Run Series is a winter running series in Wisconsin presented by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC. The series runs from November 8, 2025 to March 22, 2026 and includes seven race dates held at different local venues. Distances and event types offered in the series include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon
- Walk
- 5K ruck
Rucking is included as a timed 5K event that uses a weighted backpack; rucking events do not have age group awards. All finishers receive a wooden finisher award ("Woodle") with a magnet, produced from reclaimed wood.
Format, awards and policies
Series scoring uses a point system for final awards. Runners must participate in at least four of the seven races to be eligible for 5K or 10K series awards. Division winners receive additional points added to age group rankings. Overall, age group, and team series champions are awarded; overall 5K and 10K winners receive a free entry into the next series and a series trophy. A walker division is available and walkers are asked to stay to the right on course. Registration for the series was reported closed and the t-shirt deadline had passed. The series has a no-refund policy; registration transfers, deferrals, and exchanges are described in the event policies.
