Chili Chase 5K - Oceana
Wyoming County Run Club organizes the Chili Chase 5K in Oceana, West Virginia. The event is based at the Gilliland Park Pool parking lot at Oceana Pool and follows a route through the heart of town.
The distance is 3.1 Miles. The course is described as fast and flat with only minor rolling hills. The organizer notes an awards ceremony at the amphitheater after the final finisher.
Registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes October 16, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30.00. The first 50 registrants are guaranteed a race shirt. Packet pickup and day-of registration are available on race day.
Awards include recognition for the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals for the top three male and female finishers will be awarded in the following categories: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+.
