Bearhole Road Race
The Bearhole Road Race is a road running event held in June at Twin Falls Resort State Park near Mullens, West Virginia. The course begins near the Twin Falls Golf Course Clubhouse parking lot and follows the park's public roads through wooded, rolling terrain in Wyoming County before returning to the park for the finish.
The event offers separate competitive divisions for male and female runners in both distances, with first place overall awards in each division. Age-group trophies are awarded for First, Second and Third place within the male and female 5K and 10K divisions. The race has operated as a recurring local running event for multiple decades.
Participants who register on or before May 31 are guaranteed an official Bearhole participant T-shirt and a finisher medal; registrations after that date are not guaranteed those items. The event location is listed on WV-97 in Mullens, WV, and the organizer stages the start area near the golf course clubhouse.
