Children’s Grief Center Memory 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk : El Paso
The Children’s Grief Center Memory Run/Walk is a community event on March 21, 2026 at Ascarate Park, Blue Gill Parking Lot, El Paso, TX 79905. The event raises support for grief support and therapy services for bereaved children, teens, and families; each step honors those who have been lost and supports people who are grieving.
Event formats include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
- Couch 5K (virtual)
Registration notes: the first 600 pre-registered runners and walkers receive a race t-shirt. Entry fees listed include Adult $40, Youth (under 18) $25, Team registration (10 or more) $30, and Virtual Couch 5K $40. For teams, the first nine team members to register will receive a $10 refund once a tenth team member registers; registrants after the ninth pay the discounted fee.
Packet pick up is available the day before at a local running store and on race day at the start line. Awards include trophies for the top three overall finishers, medals for top 5K finishers by male and female age groups, and a largest-team trophy. Post-race family entertainment will offer refreshments, food trucks, games and activities, and vendor booths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
